Well she's miffed anyway. I tried Mad Housewife "Sweet Red" this past week. I like the concept, and besides everyone knows "If Mamma ain't happy ain't nobody gonna be happy". This isn't communion wine, and you won't start confessing, but it will loosen your tongue. This marketing concept reminds me of the saying, save the drama for your mamma. This wine isn't for your high maintenance drama queen. It's for the housewife who knows how to multitask, but chooses not to. A day in the life of a mad housewife - involves monotony, broken up with feverish fantasies of escape from domestic tranquility. Housewifery may not drive you to drink, but you will definitely be familiar with the layout of the adult beverage aisle in your local supermarket.

Governor Rick Perry, the strong, Christian conservative candidate, has already shown he can handle real storms, not just metaphorical economical storms. For instances Katrina, Rita, and Ike. When hurricanes hit the gulf coast, Texas steps up, and Governor Rick Perry leads in the recovery. There is a reason Governor Bobby Jindal, of Louisiana, endorsed Governor Rick Perry.

Then you should be prepared to defend yourself in the republican primary. If Mitt Romney can't withstand having his record at Bain Capital vetted now, he's not bullet proof for the general election. Mitt Romney has highlighted his tenure at Bain Capital during his stump speech, that makes it a fair avenue of inquiry. Up until now apparently we are all supposed to believe that you can't question the practices of "Bain Capital" because that's equivalent to attacking the Free Market. When did Bain Capital become the Free Market? That a pathetic straw-man argument. I don't remember "Vulture Capitalist" being a problem when it was used to describe Meg Whitman. How does this kind of campaign strategy work out? I seem to recall that Christine O'Donnell lost to Chris Coons her democrat opponent, in her bid for U.S. Senate. So there's that.

He's been called a Liberal, a Liar, lately a corporate raider aka a Liquidator. Danny Devito played a corporate raider in the movie "Other People's Money" his character's name was Larry The Liquidator. Mitt Romney just won the New Hampshire republican primary. The granite state's motto is "Live Free or Die". I think New Hampshire just got hustled by a hustler, who is trying to run the table, on his republican primary candidate rivals. Not unlike the character in the movie "The Color of Money" starring Paul Newman "Limousine Liberal". There are so many movie references to Mitt Romney's Bain Capital tenure, I don't think I will be able to cover them all. Newt Gingrich accused Mitt Romney of trying to buy the office of the President of the United States. "He doesn't tell the truth" Gingrich said. Mitt Romney's lack of veracity has also been pointed out by Governor Rick Perry, Romney's Remedy. Senator John McCain just endorsed Mitt Romney, here is a video of John McCain going through Mitt Romney's Liberal Laundry List. Meanwhile Newt Gingrich is going to release an attack ad against Mitt Romney titled "The King of Bain". I decided to look up the dictionary definition of the closest spelling to Bain. Bane definition, a person or thing that causes misery or distress ( esp a bane in of one's Life). Mitt Romney's not really popular with (L)BGT either.

Money doesn't have an agenda, money doesn't care if you have a job or if you don't. Wall Street has turned into the kind of financial industry, that has learned how to manipulate capital to keep money flowing into their own pockets - crony capitalist. Yeah, I've seen that movie too.

Imus Guest Frank Rich, President Obama's Foreign Policy Isn't A Complete Disaster

Like A Bat Out Of Hell, that's how I would describe our exit from Iraq. Unfortunately we left Iraq, without a Status Of Forces Agreement.

FP Foreign Policy: When President Barack Obama announced on Oct. 21 that he would withdraw all U.S. troops from Iraq by Dec. 31, his top advisors contended that since the Bush administration had signed the 2008 Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), both administrations believed that all troops should be withdrawn by the end of the year. This was part of the Obama administration's drive to de-emphasize their failed negotiations to renegotiate that agreement and frame the withdrawal as the fulfillment of a campaign promise to end the Iraq war.

Imus guest this morning, Frank Rich, stated that Barack Obama's foreign policy hasn't been a complete disaster, and anyway Americans are not focused on foreign policy. Americans are focused on the economy and unemployment. He stated that Rick Perry, wants to invade Iraq. Uh no Frank, he wants to clean up the mess, the Obama administration has made of U.S. foreign policy. The question isn't whether we are going to end up back in Iraq, the question is when. We are a petroleum based "economy" and the stability of Iraq effects our national security. Apparently the present administration playing politics with our national security put's Obama's failure to negotiate a status of forces agreement a plus in Frank Rich's estimation.

The only republican primary candidate that answered the question correctly, during last Saturday night's ABC debate, about our foreign policy in regards to Iraq was Governor Rick Perry.

"The idea that we allow the Iranians to come back into Iraq and take over that country, with all of the treasures, both in blood and money, that we have spent in Iraq- because this president wants to kowtow to his liberal leftist base, and move out those men and women. Does Gov Perry have a point? Iran has threatened to close the Straits of Hormuz. Has the Obama administrations failure to negotiate a status of forces agreement with the current Iraqi government emboldened the Iranians? Is the Iranian threat being down played by the media?

FYI Mr Rich, if the oil supply is slowed down or cut off to the United States, that effects our economy, and our national security. I am spit-balling, but when voters are gassing up, and prices at the pump are spiking, our foreign policy is going to be front and center in voter's concerns. Gas prices set to spike next summer, before the election.

According to Frank Rich, the act of signing off on the mission to raid the Bin Laden compound in Pakistan, something any sitting President would have been expected to support, is the shining accomplishment of the Obama administrations foreign policy. The liberal left are the masters of distraction, and managing lowered expectations. Are they batty enough to believe, the American people are going to buy what they are selling? I had every intention of writing this post on the 1st day of this year, but time just kept getting away from me :) What is in store for the United States in the upcoming year? I don't know, I'm not a prognosticator - I'm a procrastinator. We know that the Mayan calender ends 12-21-12, which has been interpreted to mean many different possibilities. Some think it's a sign that the world ends, others believe that the common era is ending, and a new era beginning. I don't know perhaps the Mayan's only chisel maker died. It's entirely possible the Mayan's were the kind of people who just didn't think ahead. In comparison, Americans are forward looking people, our calenders go on into infinity, that's how optimistic we are about the future. I don't really believe in fortune telling, but if you are interested in the political year ahead, Karl Rove is predicting President Obama's political future HERE.

Are there any signs that the world is coming to an end anytime soon? Well there is this latest national poll by Rasmussen, that shows Rick Santorum, is polling in second place in the national polls for the Republican presidential nominee. Mel Gibson got divorced, and from what I understand, going by his interpretation of Catholicism, he's going to burn or he's already been burned, he's already had a mel- t down, talk about your Apocalypto. Well known bloviating cable news jockey says, he's not sure he will be available to sit in front of camera, during the New Hampshire primary, January 10th, to perform in the broadcast, to get the attention he craves more than air.

Unfinished Mayan relics not withstanding. I think we all just need to simmer down, and count our blessings. Americans know what to do, when faced with pagan's threatening adversity -we either shoot it or we punch it in the face. I spent some time trying to think of some appropriate end of the world music for 2012. The Final Countdown, from Europe was suggested. There's the old standby, Armageddon It By Def Leppard. No Way Back, The Foo Fighters. Given the fatalist nature of the current chattering class, writing America's eulogy, and the endings theme for 2012, reminded me of one of last years endings. An ending that had a profound effect on me was Christopher Hitchens ending in December 2011. We are not permanent we are temporary. His brother Peter Hitchens quoted T.S.Eliot at the end of his article addressing his brother's passing It may actually be true, as I have long hoped that it would be, in the words of T.S. Eliot, that "the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time".

Jake Tapper "The Democrats Want Romney To Be The Republican Nominee"

Imus guest Jake Tapper of ABC news, tells Imus, he believes the Democrats want to face Mitt Romney in the General election. Mitt Romney is the Democrat's choice for the Republican nominee, to run against President Barack H Obama.

In fact Senator John McCain just endorsed Mitt Romney. John McCain lost to Barack Obama in the last Presidential election in 2008. The Republican party is hell bent on fighting their last war, when they lost in 2008. This is the year 2012, you can't go back, there are no do overs.

I was reading about the Iowa caucus turnout for the Republican primary to gauge Republican voter enthusiasm.

Iowa caucus voters, January 3rd, 2012 who voted 122,255. Representative Ron Paul won 21% to place 3rd. All of Rep Ron Paul's support is not Republican, he had 44% share of the Independent's vote. With respect to the first question, entrance polling puts the number of independents who voted in the GOP caucuses at about 23% of the turnout or approximately 28,000 voters. Rep Ron Paul polled 44% of that independent vote. Subtracting all the Independents voting in the Iowa caucus on January 3rd, would leave a much smaller amount of actual Republicans participating in their own caucus. Which would point to lower enthusiasm among Republican voters.

Governor Rick Perry “This is a quirky place and a quirky process to say the least,” Perry said on Wednesday, before leaving Iowa. “We’re going to go into, you know, places where they have actual primaries and there are going to be real Republicans voting. Perry believes the Iowa caucuses are a screwy, non-representative endeavor. In some ways, he’s right. Turnout at caucuses is far lower than at primary elections; only the most committed politicos show. In Iowa, Democrats and independents can cross the aisle to participate — a boon to a candidate like Paul, who has hefty support outside the Republican Party, or to Romney, who’s considered the most moderate of the front-runners.

I have my own theory of what is driving down Republican voter enthusiasm in the Republican primary. Corporate media's non stop schilling of the vanilla candidate, that can't poll over 25% and is celebrated as a success for not being able to appeal to 75% of the Republican base. Which is probably one of the many reasons, the Democrats want the Republicans to nominate Mitt Romney for the 2012 Republican ticket. Suppressing Republican voter enthusiasm.

Among many political pundits handicapping tonight's Iowa caucus, is I-Fav James Carville, Imus's guest this morning on Imus In The Morning. James Carville thinks there could be a surprise tonight. Mr Carville will be covering the caucus tonight on CNN 7:00 P.M.

Frank Luntz, Imus's other guest this morning, has stated it's a three way race, but he doesn't know the order of the winner and two runners up. Mr Luntz has stated as of now, in a match up between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, if the election were held today President Barack Obama wins reelection.

Given all the current pre-dick-shuns of the outcome of tonight's first caucus in the Republican primary race, I am going to forego pretending, I know how Iowan's are going to vote. Forty one percent, have said they could change their minds. I am firmly in Governor Rick Perry's camp. I'll be ridin the storm out, monitoring the caucus returns tonight, from my recliner. I won't be an arm chair quarter back, like so many talking heads, and political pundits, who have been beating the dead horse narrative - the inevitability of a Romney nomination. They think it's helpful for their favorite candidate, to tell American voters who the Republican nominee will be, before a single vote has been cast. The media picked our last nominees, and President in 2008. How did that work out for everyone? I am optimistic that tonight, Iowa voters, the first of the 57 states are going to independently choose, the candidate for the Republican nominee, that will be the best leader for our country.
